Why everyone keeps coming back.

Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen in Foley, AL, is a vibrant destination for lovers of authentic Cajun and Southern-inspired fast food. This popular restaurant masterfully blends the bold flavors of Louisiana with the convenience of a fast food setting, offering a menu that celebrates both classic fried chicken and succulent seafood.

The star of the menu is undoubtedly the Signature Chicken. Each piece is marinated in a proprietary blend of Louisiana herbs and spices, then coated in a crispy, golden batter that delivers an irresistible crunch with every bite. Whether you opt for the 3-Piece or 2-Piece Signature Chicken, each order comes paired with a warm buttermilk biscuit, flaky on the outside yet soft and buttery inside—a perfect companion to the savory goodness. For those craving a creamy side, the Homestyle Mac & Cheese is a comforting delight, baked to a velvety, cheesy finish that feels like home in every spoonful.

No meal at Popeyes would be complete without savoring their Mashed Potatoes with Cajun Gravy. The rich, velvety mash is generously smothered in a delectable Cajun-style gravy, offering a savory indulgence that complements the crispy chicken beautifully. For a refreshing balance, their crisp Coleslaw and an array of dipping sauces—including zingy wing sauces—round out the meal with vibrant textures and flavors.

The dining atmosphere at the Foley location is notably welcoming and clean, a sentiment echoed by many patrons. With spotless floors, gleaming windows, and a neatly arranged dining area, guests can enjoy their meals in a comfortable, well-maintained environment. Adding to the experience, a large screen TV subtly keeps diners informed and entertained without overwhelming the space.

Customer reviews reveal how Popeyes Foley stands out not just for its food but also for its friendly and attentive service. Many have noted the polite, approachable staff and even the manager’s personal attention, which is rare in fast food establishments. This level of care creates a magnetic dining experience where customers feel genuinely valued, turning fast food into something refreshingly personable.

Whether you’re stopping by for a quick, spicy chicken sandwich that packs a punch or settling in to enjoy a full Cajun feast, Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen on S McKenzie St promises a flavorful journey into Southern comfort food. For a taste of Louisiana’s rich culinary heritage served with a smile, this location is a must-visit on your Foley food map.

Haven’t been to Popeyes in a while mostly do to the poor service and food quality that you get but today I’ve drove past this location and I said to myself it’s been a while went in the drive-through. I was pleasantly surprised that the people at the drive-through window were nice and the food came out fast. I wish I lived closer to this location.

The manager (I think) & staff were so nice! Food was great. He was very polite, came and checked on us (never had that at a fast food restaurant), and greeted us when we came in and left!! Manager, owner, floor leader - whatever he was, deserves a bonus!

This was one of the cleanest fast-food restaurants we have visited. Not a drop of dirt on the floor or finger prints on doors or windows. Definitely no grease smeared appliances as often seen in establishments like this. The dining area is well decorated and makes you feel comfortable while eating. A nice large screen TV provides a non-distracting, yet centrally located form of information. They only run the news. Staff was friendly and very curteous at all times. When I asked a question concerning how hot the wings were in terms of spicy, the manager stepped right in handed me a small sample, so I could be sure the family would like them. We ended up ordering meals for everybody in our group! This is a good place to eat without feeling like your in a fast-food establishment. Check my photos and see for yourself.

We had a Cajun turkey for Thanksgiving and it was hands down, the best turkey we have ever tasted! I sure hope they have them again at Christmas!!

This is not the easiest location to get in and out of. When we placed our order I had to repeat myself several times. The person at the window was not the most friendly of people. The food was good though.

I came done from Opelika to enjoy the water park. While leaving out I tried the Popeyes. Very very great service and atmosphere. The supervisor that worked on Saturday July 26 is everything!! The way she resolved any issues and took the orders. The server with the gold hair and accent was the sweetest. Another manager was interacting with a customer that wasn’t hers and everything went smoothly!! If I could give them 100 stars compared to any Popeyes I’ve been in I would.
